The New Shape of Recycling
It’s almost time for the fall/winter wardrobe swap! When this happens twice a year, I always want to go through my wardrobe and sell or donate what I haven’t worn in six months (I should probably narrow it down to three months excluding evening wear).
What about bras? Sometimes our bra sizes change with our hormonal changes or with pregnancy but we have good bras, they just don’t fit anymore. Well I have the solution for you right here…
The Bra Recyclers is a textile company that recycles and reuses bras to keep them out of landfills. The bras are then distributed to developing countries throughout the world to help women transition back into self-sufficiency.
I am about to send in my third donation over the past couple of years. It’s so simple - just make sure the bras are washed and then filled out a pdf form available on their website and drop in the mail. So what are you waiting for? Go clean out your lingerie drawer filled with bras that you don’t wear anymore and make a difference in a less fortunate woman’s life. And pass it on - the more women know, the better!
Being green has never been so uplifting!
