I’ve never really thought of a scarf as a needed fashion accessory until this line made it’s way into my inbox this morning.  Sammy is an accessories company that is hand made in Ethiopia and focuses on the country’s long history of weaving craftsmanship.  In exchange for hand-woven, hand-dyed, and skilled embroidery, Sammy provides the Ethiopian employees with fair employment and healthy working conditions.

Along with chic embroidered scarves, Sammy also makes leather pouches (digging the tie-dyed designed pictured above).  Available in very select shops around the world, such as Christopher Fischer in the Hamptons, Sammy mixes luxury with love making this line a new cult favorite.
