To hide the widget button after installing the theme:

  1. Visit your Tumblr blog's customization page (typically found at http://www.tumblr.com/customize).
  2. Click on Appearance.
  3. Click Hide Widget Button.
  4. Click on Save+Close.

While I love the news feed function of Tumblr, I feel like it makes it more difficult to know specifics about the people you follow, such as age, city, occupation, etc.  And unfortunately I can’t constantly be on-line to read everything. 

Logically, the easiest way would probably be clicking to someone’s home unless there’s a secret Tumblr function that I don’t know about?

  1. nudawn said: Get the mobile app if you can’t be online. Also half the fun of tumblr is not knowing who you’re talking too.
  2. reallifein3d answered: I hate the new tumblr. The older version was much easier to navigate. Or maybe I’m dumb.
