For all of my New York gals who love summer in the city, these cute notes are for you (and me)!
Word on the weather map is that we’re supposed to have a heat wave in LA this weekend… I suppose I should be happy that it’s not the muggy, heavy heat in NYC but damn, 110 degrees!? I’ll be at the beach AND I’ll be making this easy, cute wrap around skirt for a quick bikini bottom cover up!
For the last 20 years, Ruth 101-years old and Al 89, have been traveling the world together and dancing the nights away. They first met on a cruise, when Al noticed how elegant Ruth was dressed and asked her to dance. To celebrate her 100th birthday, Ruth and Al cruised to the Caribbean. Al told me, “Ruth always looks so gorgeous and she is such a fun person to be with. I love getting all dressed up and riding the bus with her. People always tell us how great we look together.”
How many times have you gone shopping to only get to the register and realize that you forgot to bring your reusable shopping bags? I’m guilty as charged and you know why? Because the canvas bags that I have are so unattractive that I shove them into a closet and out of my sight… but now I don’t have to thanks to Mimot Studios! Their “suspenders tote" is not only functional, it’s playful yet study. So when the cute boy in the produce aisle asks where you go it, you can thank me down the road when you two cut the wedding cake.
Bumped into my friend Alexis Wolfer a few days ago and stared at her nails like a crazy person. Could they possibly be any sweeter? I think not! She frequents my favorite nail art salon in Los Angeles and was a handy reminder for me to make an appointment…
My new nail objective for the spring. And if you don’t read Alexis Wolfer’s The Beauty Bean, please check it out because it’s a great site!
People never cease to amazing me. This is so simple yet genius.
