Most of y’all might be too young to remember the TV Dallas in the late 70’s - the 80’s but I’m so excited that it’s back (even thought the hair is not as big as Texas today).
It premieres tomorrow on TNT at 9/8 Central. I remember meeting Jesse Metcalfe in the MTV TRL studio years ago, and even though his eyebrows are more perfectly manicured than my own, he is still fine to look at.
And now in television development news… Supermodel Naomi Campbell headlines a new reality competition series on Oxygen called The Face. Campbell will be one of three supermodel coaches who will have responsibility for mentoring and training the contestants.
Since one of my friends is now the SVP of Development for Oxygen, I will refrain from saying ‘another modeling show’ (oops, guess I just did). The other two supermodes coaches have not yet been announced. I would watch if one is Helena Christiansen, my favorite, but I highly doubt she would bring the dramz.
I find it amusing that also this week Former Liberian president Charles Taylor was found guilty of eleven counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity for arming Sierra Leone rebels in exchange for “blood diamonds” — several of which were allegedly given to Campbell on a trip to South Africa in 1997 (she was called to testify).
